The Antwerp Vector Foldline Skirt revisits a familiar silhouette through symmetry, layering and deliberate interruption.

Crafted from performance fabric, this piece is lightweight yet structured. Featuring an A-line silhouette while the pleated skirt design and large, single-piece pockets add visual depth. Effortlessly chic and versatile, it’s perfect for everyday wear and a variety of occasions.

The design is reminiscent of a lineage of experimental pattern cutting that emerged from Antwerp in the late 1990s — where garments were treated less as finished objects and more as propositions in construction.

A curved overlay panel cuts across a gathered lower tier, shifting the centre of the silhouette, reminiscent of the pattern-cutting pedagogy that emerged from Antwerp’s Royal Academy in the late 1990s, where garments were often drafted flat before being manipulated directly on the body rather than resolved fully on paper.

The result is neither rigid nor purely fluid. Instead, the skirt settles into a relaxed volume shaped by the wearer, with structural lines that move and realign through motion and relaxed volume as shifting panels create structural tension across the body.
