Aperture Wool-Blend Skirt

A layered wool-blend skirt traced with elongated cut-outs that open and close across the body like fragmented apertures. Ruched through the hips before falling into a fluid column silhouette, the piece moves with a soft instability — collapsing, stretching, and reforming with each step.

The repeated negative spaces interrupt the darkness of the fabric like slits in film stock or worn-through jersey, revealing flashes of skin beneath without fully resolving into exposure. Somewhere between deconstructed knitwear and after-hours club dressing, the silhouette feels simultaneously fragile and confrontational.

Rendered in a washed black wool-blend jersey with a slightly translucent finish, the piece drapes close to the body while retaining a sense of weight and softness. Designed for layering against oversized textures, second-skin mesh, and distressed tailoring.
