Qing (靛/青) Indigo Hook Waist Jeans

A reworking of the wide leg jean through a subtle shift at the waist, and intervention sitting at the front closure.

Offset hook fastenings replace the conventional button fly, introducing a slight asymmetry across the waistline. This repositions the centre of the garment, creating tension between alignment and deviation without disrupting the overall structure.

Cut in a deep indigo denim, the trouser maintains a clean, uninterrupted fall through the leg, structured yet relaxed, holding a consistent width from hip to hem. The silhouette remains grounded in traditional workwear, where durability and proportion were prioritised over excess.

The upper block remains contained, allowing the leg to release into volume below. The result is controlled but altered, a familiar form adjusted through a single, precise detail.

10% viscose

Care 

New denim may carry a slight odour — this will dissipate after washing. Please wash before wear. 

Hand wash recommended. If machine washing, use a gentle cycle. Turn garment inside out before washing and drying.

Do not bleach or use harsh detergents.
Do not wring or scrub aggressively.
Do not tumble dry.

To prevent fading, do not wash at temperatures above 40°C 

Dry in shade. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight.
